Detail Itinerary

  • Day 0 : Arrival at Pokhara at 2.00 pm – Tea – Orientation & Trek Preparation followed by Dinner ( Local Cusine ) 
  • Day 01: Pokhara – Nayapul – Tikhedhunga / Ulleri (1,540 m / 1,960 m)
    Your journey begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From here, the trail follows the Modi Khola Valley, passing through the charming village of Birethanti. The path gradually ascends along terraced fields and small settlements before reaching Tikhedhunga. For those with extra energy, you can continue the steep stone steps to Ulleri, a traditional Magar village perched on a hillside.
    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
  • Day 02: Ulleri – Ghorepani (2,860 m)
    After breakfast, begin a steady uphill climb through enchanting rhododendron and oak forests. Along the way, enjoy the sound of chirping birds and occasional mountain glimpses. The trail passes through Banthanti and Nangethanti before reaching Ghorepani, a beautiful village offering spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Ghorepani is a cultural hub with lively teahouses and a warm trekking atmosphere.
    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
  • Day 03: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3,210 m) – Tadapani (2,630 m)
    Rise early for a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), the most popular viewpoint of the region. Watch the golden sunrise illuminate the snow-capped peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and the surrounding ranges. After capturing these breathtaking moments, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast. The trail then winds through rhododendron forests and ridges, with occasional mountain views, before reaching Tadapani, a peaceful settlement surrounded by forests.
    Trek Duration: 6–7 hours (including Poon Hill hike)
  • Day 04: Tadapani – Chhomrong (2,170 m)
    Descend through dense forests rich with oak, bamboo, and rhododendrons, eventually reaching beautiful Gurung villages along the way. The trail drops steeply to Kimrong Khola before climbing again to Chhomrong, the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Chhomrong is a lively village with excellent views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.
    Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
  • Day 05: Chhomrong – Himalaya Hotel (2,900 m)
    Begin the day with a descent to the Chhomrong Khola River, followed by a steep climb through stone steps leading to Sinuwa. The trail continues into lush bamboo and rhododendron forests, offering a cooler and more tranquil atmosphere. Passing through Bamboo and Dovan villages, the path ascends steadily before finally reaching Himalaya, a small cluster of lodges nestled along the Modi Khola valley.
    Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
  • Day 06: Himalaya – Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)
    Today’s trail is one of the most rewarding. The path ascends past Hinku Cave and climbs through Deurali before reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m), where you’ll be treated to magnificent views of Machhapuchhre and surrounding peaks. From here, continue along the glacial moraine into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Arriving at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) is a breathtaking moment, surrounded by towering peaks like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre in a spectacular 360° amphitheater.
    Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
  • Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo (2,310 m)
    Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Annapurna range, with golden rays lighting up the snowy giants. After breakfast, begin your descent. Retrace your steps through MBC, Deurali, and Dovan before finally reaching Bamboo. The downhill journey is easier, allowing you to fully appreciate the changing scenery.
    Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
  • Day 08: Bamboo – Jhinu Danda (1,760 m) – Pokhara (850 m)
    The trail leads back through Sinuwa and Chhomrong, descending steeply to Jhinu Danda,  shared jeep awaits to drive you back to Pokhara, Dinner at the Pokhara Hotel. This marks the end of your memorable Annapurna Base Camp trek.
    Trek Duration: 6–7 hours | Drive: 1.5 hours
  • Day 09 : After Breakfast Check out with loving memories.

  • Pokhara – Nayapul, and Nayapul -Pokhara by private car or van
  • Clean Lodge accommodation is on the way with blankets.
  • Meals: Italian, Chinese, Nepali, Indian, and various European dishes are available three times a day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One main course is provided per meal during the trek.
  • ACAP permit and TIMS card permit.
  • Experienced English-speaking trekking guide licensed by the government, familiar with the area.
  • One porter for every three four participants. (Note: An additional cost applies for solo clients requiring a porter.)
  • Guide, Porter meals, accommodation, salary, and insurance
  • Necessary paperwork, all government, and local taxes

  • Inclusion of costs or delays beyond the control of the management, such as landslides, weather conditions, itinerary modifications due to safety concerns, illness, changes in government policies, strikes, etc.

    This was without any doubt one of the best experiences in my life. Doing the Poon Hill trek with Saurabh was a sequence of stunning, insightful, empowering, joyful and heart warming moments. It was clear to me that this trek was not only an incredibly beautiful outer travel but just as much an inner travel as well.
